Harvest Table Buffet

About us

In 1977, our family opened an old roadside motel restaurant in Aiken and aptly named it “Heart of Aiken Buffet”. The restaurant proved extremely popular and successful but it was limited in size and was quickly being outgrown. A larger building was not available at that time in Aiken but one was found on the Gordon Highway in Augusta, GA. Desperately wanting to expand the size of the business, the Aiken location was closed in 1978 and moved to Augusta.  45 years later, it still stands as a south side icon. Serving home cooked food in a clean, family atmosphere is the reason the Harvest Table Buffet has established itself as "the" place to dine in south Augusta. We hope you get an opportunity to stop by and share in our history.
